Can't pay BIP-70 invoices with Bitcoin.com wallet

So I recently implemented BIP-70 payments into my application and was trying to test it with the Bitcoin.com wallet. Doesn't work: "Couldn't fetch payment. Check if it is still valid". For hours I tried to find the issue, to no avail. It works very well with Electron Cash. So I tried generating a random Bitpay invoice just to make sure that there is something wrong with my implementation. But it didn't work either! I couldn't make a donation to Wikipedia (not that I ever would, it was just a test). I assume there must be something wrong with the wallet.

After Bitcoin BIP changes can BTC still be sent to CoPay wallet?

I just read an article that mentioned Bitcoin’s change of BIP protocol, and was wondering if anyone knows if you can still send BTC from Exodus wallet to CoPay wallet? (The retailer uses BitPay).
